Make sure you are wearing proper PPE before beginning this maintenance activity. Refer to plant and department specific PPE requirements.

Lockout all stored energy sources in the work area using proper procedure. Review lockout placard and follow plant lockout procedures.

If you are unclear how to preform this task, ask your supervisor.

While performing this PM, if you discover any problems that are outside the scope of the work covered by this PM, generate a work ticket to initiate the necessary repairs AND report to your supervisor.

If this PM is not accurate please document any changes or additions that should be made and give them to your supervisor.

1: In the event that the laser does not want to run, the following error message will appear: Error PCI-DIO24 Card 4 Not Found. The Instacal Launch Window will open.

2: Installing the Instacal Board - The Instacal board is a physical Didigtal I/O Board located in the computer. The term "installing" refers to the computer recognizing the board.

3: Open the Programs menu in the left hand corner of the monitor and install the Instacal program.

4: If the Instacal program is not available in the list of programs, look in the following area C:\Program Files/Measurement Computing/DAQ\inscal32.exe.

5: Double click on [Board #0-PCI DIO24 (dev#2)].

6: The following Warning message may appear. Click the OK Button to Continue.

7: Once the window closes, double click [Board #0-PCI DIO24 (dev#2)]. The Plug and Play Board Detection Window will appear

8: Double Click on [Board #0-PCI DIO24 and the the Board Configuration window will appear. This will install the board and the following window will appear

9: Esure the PC Nic matches the window, double click the monitor icon the the lower right hand corner.

10: The Local Area Connection Window should appear. Select the properties button.

11: The Local Areas Connection 2 Properties Window will appear. Click the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) field so that it is selected and Select the Properties Button.

12: The Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties Window will appear. From the window, enter i the IP Address and Subnet Mask for the Correct Telesis Station. Once all settings are completed, click the OK button.

13: Plug in the computer's power cable.

14: Power on the computer.

15:The computer should boot normally if the proper Ghost Image was used and ready to be put into operation.
